What a farm is for
Farm units create extra match money so you can place and upgrade fighters sooner. Most of them do not exist to kill toilets. A few add another job: Scientist Clockman can spawn barriers, and Titan Printer Man also deals damage.
The November 6-7, 2026 REBALANCE update changed farm values. An opening that assumed the old Santa TV Man payout needs a new check before you copy it.
Income shown after REBALANCE
These five figures are the incomes displayed for that version. They are not a full efficiency ranking, because placement cost, upgrade cost, and payout timing are separate.
| Farm | Displayed income |
|---|---|
| Octopus VIP | 1,750 |
| Santa TV Man | 1,500 |
| Gingerbread House | 1,500 |
| Carrot Farmer Bunny Man | 550 |
| Pumpkin Farmer | 500 |
Octopus VIP is the highest of these five. Santa TV Man and Gingerbread House share the same displayed income. Carrot Farmer Bunny Man sits just above Pumpkin Farmer. The farm income board sorts only this displayed number.
Payouts are not the same unit
- Many farms pay on a wave.
- Carrot Farmer Bunny Man pays when a wave is skipped.
- Dark Printer Man generates money every second. The per-second amount was not restated with the five incomes above.
- Titan Printer Man uses a Pay Out Time mechanic.
Do not compare a per-second number with a per-wave number as if they were the same. Pick one stretch of a match and convert both to money over that stretch.
When to buy the next farm upgrade
- Keep enough match money to place or upgrade a fighter if the wave is leaking.
- Divide the upgrade cost by the extra money it adds per payout. That quotient is the number of payouts needed to get the cost back.
- Skip the upgrade if the match will end before those payouts happen.
- Spend the extra income on the fighter that is actually holding the lane.
The farm upgrade payback calculator does that division after you type the cost, the extra income, and how many minutes pass between payouts. Its starting numbers are examples, not game prices.
Other farms worth naming
The wider farm list includes Printer Man, Dark Printer Man, Scientist Cameraman, Influencer Cameraman, Speakerwoman's Rose Farm, Upgraded Scientist Clockman, and Scientist Drillman. Printer Man and Dark Printer Man are printers. Santa TV Man is a TV. Scientist Cameraman and Influencer Cameraman are cameras.
Scientist Drillman, King Drillman, and Drill Helicopter were the 2024 Drill event pass set: farm, damage-plus-boost, and an early unit. Those event shopping steps are not the current shop.
The November 7 experience text says farm units have their own traits. The trait names were not published in that blurb, so this guide does not invent them. Read the trait on the unit you own.
The official changes text also says exist counts were rebuilt and do not include deleted or banned troops. Use the count you see now, not an older trade screenshot.
